§ 26-5. Districts designated.

The town is divided into five council single-member districts to be designated District 1, District 2, District 3, District 4 and District 5. The dimensions of such districts will be fixed by subsequent ordinance and for the municipal election in 1988, and every four years thereafter. Councilmembers will be elected from such designated districts as in effect at the time, and each councilmember elected from such district shall be a bona fide elector of and actually reside in his district.
